Using CoffeeCut
Each drink in the list has a typical caffeine amount for its size. When you log a drink, CoffeeCut adds that amount to your total for the day. For your own drinks you can enter the exact amount. Real caffeine content varies by brand and preparation, so treat the numbers as estimates.
Yes. If your drink is not in the list, create a custom one with its own name, size and caffeine amount, and add it to your log like any other drink.
Yes. In Settings you can switch between milliliters and fluid ounces and choose 12-hour or 24-hour time. You can also pick light or dark mode.
Check that notifications are allowed for CoffeeCut in your phone's system settings, and that the reminders are turned on in the app's Settings.
Caffeine and sleep
CoffeeCut uses the drinks you logged in the last 24 hours and an average caffeine half-life of about 5 hours to estimate how much may remain at your bedtime. It is a general guide, not medical advice. A simple sleep status is free; Premium adds the amount left, the countdown and bedtime reminders. Premium also shows a chart of the caffeine in your body, a “last call” time, and lets you choose how fast caffeine clears for you.
Health authorities such as the U.S. FDA cite up to about 400 mg a day as an amount not generally associated with negative effects for most healthy adults. Sensitivity varies, and pregnancy or health conditions may call for less. CoffeeCut starts you at a gentle 200 mg goal, and you can change it in Settings.
Premium
Yes. You can log drinks, set a daily goal, get alerts when you approach or pass your limit and see your weekly chart for free. New users also get a 7-day trial of Premium features. After that, Premium unlocks sleep details and bedtime reminders, your full history and monthly and yearly statistics.
Open Premium in the app and tap Restore Purchase. Use the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with.
On iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android, open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Yes, with Premium. Export a CSV of your drinks, or save a backup file and restore it later or on a new phone. The file stays where you save it; CoffeeCut does not upload it.
Privacy and data
Your drink log, goals and settings are stored on your phone. CoffeeCut has no account or login. The app only sends a random install ID, app and OS version, language and country, anonymous usage counts and, if you subscribe, purchase information needed to unlock Premium. We never sell your data or show ads. See the Privacy Policy for details.
In the app, go to Settings → Clear All Data. To erase server-side records, follow the steps on the Delete My Data page.
Optionally, with Premium. If you turn it on, CoffeeCut saves the caffeine of each drink to Apple Health or Health Connect and reads your sleep to show a pattern between late caffeine and sleep. This data stays on your phone, and you choose what to share in the system prompt.
