Acceptance of terms
When you download, install or use the CoffeeCut app (“the app”, “the service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What CoffeeCut does
CoffeeCut lets you log drinks that contain caffeine, set a daily goal, view statistics and history, and receive reminders, including an estimate of caffeine that may remain at bedtime.
Health disclaimer
CoffeeCut is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Caffeine amounts are typical estimates and real values vary by brand, size and preparation. Sleep estimates are general guides based on an average half-life and do not account for your individual sensitivity.
Always consult a qualified health professional about caffeine intake, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, under 18, have a heart condition, anxiety, sleep problems or take medication.
Acceptable use
You agree to use CoffeeCut only for lawful, personal purposes. You may not:
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app
- Interfere with the service or attempt to gain unauthorized access
- Use the app in a way that violates any applicable law
Free use, trial and Premium
5.1. Free use
You can log drinks, set a goal, receive limit alerts and view your recent history, weekly chart and a basic sleep status for free.
5.2. Free trial
New users get a 7-day trial that includes Premium features. When it ends you can keep using CoffeeCut for free.
5.3. Premium subscription
Premium unlocks sleep details (the caffeine left at bedtime, a caffeine chart, a “last call” time and sensitivity settings), bedtime reminders, your full history, monthly and yearly statistics, export and backup, home-screen widgets, and optional Apple Health / Health Connect sync. It is an auto-renewing subscription billed through the App Store or Google Play. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Apple: payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID account settings
- Google Play: manage or cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
5.4. Refunds
Payments are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies. We cannot process refunds directly.
Intellectual property
The app, including its design, logo, text and software and the name “CoffeeCut”, belongs to us or our licensors. These terms do not give you any ownership of it. Your drink log is yours.
Limitation of liability
CoffeeCut is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that caffeine and sleep estimates are accurate for you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on the app's estimates. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the previous 12 months.
Ending your use
You can stop using CoffeeCut at any time by deleting the app. You can erase local data in Settings → Clear All Data. We may suspend access if you seriously violate these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will update the date at the top of this page, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in the country where you live. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issue.
